Cyra Mutesi

Cyra Mutesi is a specialist in education, health and social care based in London. For over a decade, she has advised on national and local policy pertaining to Safeguarding, Child Health and Social services provision. 

Since 2015, she has been an Associate Lecturer at the University of Greenwich and the Royal Holloway University and an advisor to the Social and Clinical Institute for Excellence (SCIE) and the Department for Education. 

Other notable work includes training on media, poverty and anti-oppressive practice she has designed and delivers to student and qualified social workers. Notably, "social work in the media," which is facilitated by the University of Greenwich. Ms Mutesi sits as Vice Chair for several Adoption and Fostering panels in London and the South-East. She holds an MA in Mental Health.
