Dr Laura Davison

Dr Laura Davison is the Head of Research at the City of London Corporation where she runs a programme spanning local communities and demographics, infrastructure, regulation and taxation, emerging markets and global competitiveness. She has worked on a wide range of projects involving the use of data to evaluate and inform strategy at a London and City level, on areas such as employment, health, regulatory impact, city competitiveness, economic growth, and business data.  Prior to joining the City Corporation in 2007, she was a psychologist with eleven years of experience in research and consultancy, most recently as a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University where she worked on a number of large-scale educational programmes and evaluations. Her previous research interests at Birmingham University included the development of memory and representation. She remains a Chartered Psychologist and has published in a range of journals.
