Professor George Szmukler
Professor George Szmukler is Professor of Psychology at King's College London. His major research interests include eating disorders, family carers of people suffering from a psychotic illness and methods of reducing compulsion in psychiatric care through the use of ’advance statements’. He also serves as Associate Director at NIHR, emphasizing public involvement in mental health research to engage service users, carers, and the general public.
