Jonathan Koestlé-Cate

Jonathan Koestlé-Cate has recently completed a PhD on contemporary art and the church, and teaches at Goldsmiths College, London. He is a cultural historian with a background in fine art and twentieth century art history and theory. His research focuses on the growing uses of contemporary art within the church, paying particular attention to the debates around the employment of openly non-Christian artists, and the response of the secular art world to art in churches.
