Volunteer for Gresham College

Group of people with their hands in a pile in the middle

Give your time and help Gresham College reach a wider audience

Whether a regular visitor to Barnard's Inn Hall, an online viewer, or someone who would just like to support our mission, anyone over the age of 18 can volunteer.

We are specifically looking for help with:

Volunteer in the Fundraising Office

We are looking for someone to support our fundraising endeavours. Good general office skills will be required. Full training provided.

Volunteer in the PR Office

We want to tell the world about the brilliant lectures we host across the year. We are looking for someone to help research clubs, societies and groups that may be interested in specific lectures. The ability to research online and update our contact list will be required. Full training provided.

Volunteer as a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter

Do you have BSL interpreting qualifications? There are occasions where audience members would like an interpreter to attend a lecture to interpret for them.

Write an article for the Gresham College Newsletter

Would you be willing to share your love for Gresham College with our global community? We are looking for people to write about their experiences with our lectures for our newsletter, inspiring others to come along and discover the College for themselves.

Be a Gresham College Social Media Ambassador

Help spread the word about Gresham College by promoting our lectures on social media, as well as engaging with our own social media posts. It's easy, free and goes a long way in helping people discover the richness of Gresham College's programme.

To have a chat about any of these volunteering opportunities, please contact Celia Blakeway-Phillips, Head of Fundraising and Engagement on:

Why Support Gresham College?

Daniel Dougherty

“It is a pleasure to support Gresham College.  I am a lifelong learner who appreciates Gresham's mission of expanding knowledge through delivering lectures on a wide range of topics.  While I live in the United States, I visit London a few times a year and enjoy attending lectures in person.  Keep up the great work – I hope to be back again soon!  In the meantime, I'll enjoy watching online.”
