Steve Allen

Steve Allen is a highly experienced and versatile model maker in the creative industry with over four decades of work spanning film, television, theatre, merchandise, and live events. He specialises in model making for effects, prototypes, sets, and displays, alongside puppet and creature design, fabrication, and performance.

Steve also works as a TV & film merchandise designer and tooling model engineer, and builds bespoke magic props and large-scale illusions. In addition to his creative practice, he delivers lectures and workshops for schools, universities, and private functions, sharing his craft with the next generation of makers.

Steve has worked for, among others, The Jim Henson Company, Gerry Anderson Entertainment and Puppets Marionettas.
