Professor Browne Lewis
Professor Browne Lewis graduated number one in her class with a degree in Political Science from Grambling State University. She received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law and her M.P.P. from the Humphrey Institute. Professor Lewis also earned an L.L.M. in Energy and Environmental Law from the University of Houston Law Center. Currently, Professor Lewis is the Leon and Gloria Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Health Law & Policy at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Professor Lewis writes in the areas of bioethics, environmental, family and inheritance law. In 2013, Professor Lewis went to Israel as a Senior Fulbright Specialist. She enjoys running, writing fiction, and travelling with her four sisters. As a Fulbright Scholar, she will conduct research on assisted reproductive technology and assisted suicide at King’s College London.
