Professor Hugh Barr
Professor Barr is Consultant General & Gastrointestinal Surgeon at the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust.
He has served on the World Health Organization study group reviewing interprofessional developments worldwide and is now the coordinator for the World Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice Co-ordinating Committee.
The universities of East Anglia and Southampton awarded him honorary doctorates for his seminal role in promoting interprofessional education nationally and internationally.
