The Schubert Ensemble is known for classic piano/string and modern British works, the latter a repertoire that the Ensemble has done much to create through commission-ing in its distinguished history. The Ensemble pioneered the unique project CHAMBER MUSIC 2000 which has commissioned more than 60 works from leading composers for performance by young musicians.
