In November 2003, at the newly restored Hackney Empire, the Classical Opera Company presented the world premiere of its new completed version of Mozart's unfinished opera Zaide.

In this seminar, the company's conductor and artistic director, Ian Page,and the librettist Michael Symmons Roberts discuss the process of completing this neglected masterpiece. Musical illustrations will be provided by the exciting young Dutch soprano, Cora Burggraaf.
