From the Lips of Bells: The Humanisation of Bells
Taken down from its tower and laid on the ground, the bell of a great church would seem an inhuman thing: massive, cold and thoroughly dead. But that is not how people in the Middle Ages spoke of bells, and (under their influence) it is not how we speak of them now.
The music is performed by Catherine King.
