The lectures will cover various themes – The first three will address Human Rights (the origin of the notion of special human rights in history and philosophy, and what have been the major Human Rights impacts and effects, regardless of origin); followed by a personal review of Sir Geoffrey’s own life in the law in a light hearted event to amuse with some personal history; and two lectures on the trials about Srebrenica in the year of the 20th anniversary (July 1995) of the massacre.
