We have another month packed with lectures covering subjects across the Arts and Sciences.
Highlights this February include Professor Chris Whitty's third lecture on the routes of disease transmission, detailing Respiratory Infections; Professor Alec Ryrie looking at Early Protestant Missions to the Americas, and Professor Joanna Bourke exploring the history of Sex Work.
Our Business Professor, Alex Edmans, recently awarded the accolade MBA Professor of the Year, will also continue his series on the Principles of Finance with his lecture on How to Measure and Manage Risk now.
Professor Alex EdmansI wanted to make finance accessible to everyone. Not everyone can afford £100,000 to do an MBA. So many of the skills that you learn in an MBA come down to good financial decision-making and I wanted to explore the fundamentals of how to do that in this free public course.
