Many congratulations to the eleven finalists from schools across the UK who competed in the final of the inaugural Gresham Schools Competition yesterday, delivering five-minute presentations on the topic of environment and sustainability. 

Joint winners of the top Gold Award were: Yemisi Oguntimirin from Southend High School For Girls and Yassin Azeb from George Spencer Academy; with Harry Nicholson from  from Belfast Royal Academy and Rebecca Towns from Bishop’s Stortford College receiving Silver and Bronze Awards respectively. 

This is the first year of the Gresham Competition, which is designed to encourage students to develop their public presentation / oracy skills.

The competition attracted over 360 entries from across the UK.
