This month we continue our series on Power, Politics and Nationhood with award-winning journalist Kavita Puri examining the Partition of British India: 75 Years on, in our lecture hosted jointly with the Royal Historical Society.

Professor Thomas Grant QC will also describe Opposition in Russia: The Trials of Alexei Navalny and former Professor of Law, Vernon Bogdanor, will  look at The Irish Question and the Ulster Question Then and Now. 

Polio virus has recently been detected in sewers in London, prompting fresh rounds of vaccinations for children, making Professor Joanna Bourke's lecture,  Polio: A Cultural History especially timely. 

Professor Sarah Hart will also explore what Game Theory can help us understand and Professor Katherine Blundell presents The End of Our Sun.
