Professor Myles Allen Delivers Final Lecture as Professor of the Environment

This week sees the final lecture by Professor Myles Allen in his role as Frank Jackson Foundation Professor of the Environment at Gresham College.
Also a Professor of Geosystem Science at the University of Oxford, Professor Allen has delivered three outstanding series on the path to Net Zero - widely accepted as the benchmark for where the world has to get to on carbon emissions to avoid further global warming.
Acting Provost, Professor Sarah Hart, said: “Professor Allen has illuminated the complex science and urgent politics of climate change with clarity and depth.
“His work offers not just understanding, but a roadmap for humanity’s defining journey toward net zero.
“We are grateful to the Frank Jackson Foundation for their ongoing support of these important lecture series."
