Thank you for supporting our Big Give Christmas Challenge!

The Gresham College community has been extraordinarily generous, and we are delighted to share that – thanks to 585 supporters – we have raised a massive £62,059 including Gift Aid (1% over our target!).

We are so grateful to our generous pledgers and to Reed Educational Trust Limited who matched the donations, doubling every single gift. 

Since 1597, we have offered free academic lectures to countless people, and the success of this year’s Big Give campaign strengthens our ability to continue this tradition in the year ahead. 

This means that we can continue to make a difference to people such as Leo, who has been inspired to study international law after attending a Gresham College lecture; or Jeoffrey who discovered our work thanks to an Instagram post. 

While we are proud of our heritage, we look to the future, allowing people to attend lectures in person, or watch online from the comfort of their own home. 

Sir Thomas Gresham's generosity enabled Gresham College to be founded, but it is through the generosity of others that we can offer a full programme across the course of the year. Together, through your support, Gresham College can continue to help millions discover the love of learning in 2026 and beyond. 

The Big Give may be over for this year, but you can still support us. Keep free education alive this Christmas by making a gift. It will help inspire minds and share knowledge worldwide.
