Updates to Privacy and Retention Policies

We would like to let our audience and community know about a few updates to our internal policies. 

We have updated our Data Protection Privacy Notice for audiences, friends, and supporters. This notice outlines our responsibilities and the legal basis for processing your data.

It details the types of data we hold, how we collect and use your personal data, and includes information on possible research, wealth screening, data analysis, data matching, and public domain sources. Additionally, it states your rights and provides further information. 

We have also introduced a new Retention and Destruction Policy for audiences and supporters.

Previously, our Privacy Policy included a paragraph about data retention. The new policy provides specific examples of appropriate retention and destruction of personal information. It serves as a key tool for demonstrating compliance measures to regulators and documents our practices in this area.

The policy includes examples of the types of information held, the retention period, and the staff responsible for retention and destruction.
