Dr Archie Prentice

Dr Archie Prentice has been President of the Royal College of Pathologists since November 2011. He is also a consultant haematologist at the Royal Free Hospital and honourary Senior Lecturer at University College, London. 

Dr Prentice was also the founder and first Director of the South-West Regional Cancer Organisation, which was one of the NHS bodies to provide the early evidence behind the Calman-Hine proposals for the reform of cancer care, including the greater influence of pathologists through multidisciplinary teams.
