Immigrants and the Economy: Positive Impact and Political Disregard

What does immigration give to an economy? Is this offset by what they take from the system in terms of benefits and other social gains?

Professor Jagjit Chadha argues that, although immigrants offer a net-gain for the economy, disregard or mismanagement of the resources to handle the influx of residents leads to social challenge, and politicians are to blame.
