What does the law say about the on-going tragedy in Palestine and Israel? Why are human rights cases being brought against Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli government? The legality of the blockade of Gaza by the IDF has not been effectively changed since 2009: why not? How can law contribute to creating lasting peace in this region? In answering these questions, I will draw on my own Jewish heritage as well as my expertise as a human rights lawyer.
