Responding to Illiberal Populism in the US and the UK

This lecture series explores the rising level of illiberal populism in the United States and the United Kingdom to evaluate and discuss how best those who care about tolerance and liberal values can best promote more inclusive values. Because this is moving at such a rapid rate, particularly in the U.S. where Donald Trump issued over 50 executive orders in the first two weeks of his presidency, it makes no sense to be rigid about precisely what the lecture series will include now, so the topics below are necessarily only outlines and will be fleshed out by events.  More lectures in this series will be announced in due course.
