How to See the World As a Child Sees It

A young child stands on a black step stool with their back to the camera, reaching out to touch one of several large, floor-to-ceiling glowing white panels that form the walls of a room

Since 2013, artists Andy Field and Beckie Darlington have collaborated with children from across the world to create artworks that enable adults to see things through those young people’s eyes. In this lecture they discuss three of their projects, to explore both their unusual artistic process and what they have learnt from their young collaborators about the world as they see it.
