Highlights this month include Gresham Professor of IT Richard Harvey looking at the impact of Cellular Phones, as part of his series: Six Tech Inventions That Changed the World. Professor Chris Whitty lectures on Infections That Use Touch to Transmit and Gresham Professor of Music, Marina Frolova-Walker FBA, will explore Soviet Music in World War II.

We also have some fascinating lectures by guest speakers. Guy Leschziner explores The Neuroscience of Sleep and its Disorders and Nathan Robinson talks about his experience of producing viral videos of marine biology in Going Viral: An Environmental Activist's Story

Going Viral: An Environmental Activist's Story by Marine Biologist Dr Nathan Robinson will give a practical guide to building viral science stories as a way to bring about environmental change. Dr Robinson’s video of removing a plastic drinking straw from a sea turtle’s nose went viral in 2015 and now has had over 97 million views.
